The Eastern Connecticut Center for History, Art, and Perforamance (EC-CHAP), your local hub for creative expression, is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help us bring the community together through the power of art & culture. As a volunteer, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and inclusive space where people can connect, share their talents, and discover new experiences.
Here are some ways you can get involved:
• Project & Event Helpers: Help complete various projects and clean-up efforts; Support events through ticket & concession sales, and guest check-in; Historical research, artifact aquisition, and Museum support; help to ensure a smooth and exceptional guest experience.
• Creative contributors: Showcase your musical, artistic, or poetic talents at Talent Showcases, Poetry Series, or Art Exhibitions.
• Social media wizards: Help us spread the word about our events and connect with the community online.
• Community champions: Welcome newcomers, facilitate conversations, and create a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
